TVC Responsibilities:
I help people discover their role in the Great Commission, develop those whom TVC is hoping to send as long-term workers overseas, and help bolster the Missions team as we try to reach the lost, locally and globally.

When and how did the Lord save you?
I became a Christian at 17 years old as a senior in high school. When I was growing up, my Mom shared her faith with me regularly and I went with her to church. As I got older, I started to go to church less and less and stayed home with my Dad. I started to become more rebellious as I started high school and was hanging out more with the "party crowd." During my senior year, I began to have some problems with anxiety and my Mom began sharing Scripture with me and praying for me. I felt a deep peace when I read the Psalms and when my Mom prayed for me. Eventually, I realized nothing in the world could satisfy me and I asked God to reveal Himself to me. At that moment, Christ's presence overwhelmed me and I knew without a doubt that Christ was real and that He loved me. I asked for forgiveness for all that I had done and felt the Lord saying to me to tell my friends about him. It was a very emotional experience and the Lord changed my life dramatically. The next day, I started sharing about Jesus with my friends at school. I would still go to parties with my friends, but I would be the designated driver and I would share my faith at the parties. I was blessed to lead a couple of my friends to Christ right away and then in college several others came to faith. Also, my other family members all gave their lives to Christ within a few years of my salvation.

When did you come to TVC and what brought you here?
I started attending TVC around '95-96 when my parents moved to the area while I was in college. Became a member around 2002. Heather and I helped lead the youth group back then.

If you had to give a TED Talk, what subject would you choose to speak on, and why?
I would speak about how Dad jokes are important to society because of the joy they bring. Also, about the need for them to be carried on by the next generation.

If you were to have your childhood dream job, what would your job be?
Pro athlete...haha!!

Which fictional character would you be friends with in real life, and why?
Can't decide between Aslan and Mario. It would be fun to hang out with them because they're adventurous, but can be chill.

Favorite Hobby:
It used to be basketball, but I'm slowly transitioning to pickleball since I got back to the States and I'm getting older.
